Concerto Copenhagen – Dido & Aeneas

Concerto Copenhagen, aka CoCo, is one of the world's leading orchestras within their field: early music played on historical instruments. CoCo plays at festivals and concerts all over the world and collaborates with international stars like Emma Kirkby, Anne Sofie von Otter and Andreas Scholl. Two of CoCo's annual opera productions – Handel's “Julius Casar” and “Partenope” – are out on DVD. Since 1999, the world-renowned harpsichordist Lars Ulrik Mortensen is the leader of Concerto Copenhagen.

Mames Babegenush – OperaJam

Mames Babegenush is an encounter between the old world and the present - a meeting between tradition and renewal. It is klezmer in Danish hands; Jewish folk music combined with a contemporary sound that appeals to both your feet and your heart.
The sextet was formed in 2004 and quickly took audiences as well as critics by storm with their unique sound and musical enthusiasm, which also makes Mames Babegenush a unique group to know when they present their musical universe in a live context.

Piazzolla Orkestret – Maria de Buenos Aires

Newly established Piazzolla Orchestra is made up of some of the foremost musicians in Denmark.

The band consists of: Erik Heide (violin), Bjarke Mogensen (accordion), Tanja Zapolski (piano), Jesper Thorn (bass) and Per Arne Ferner (guitar).

Tivolis Symfoniorkester – James Valenti in Tivoli

The history of the Copenhagen Phil, in Danish known as Tivoli's Symphony Orchestra, begins with the orchestra of H.C. Lumbye, which was among the greatest attractions of Tivoli from the very beginning in 1843. The orchestra now consists of 80 musicians and plays a total of 115 concerts, opera and ballet performances each year, featuring conductors and soloists from at home and abroad. No less than 11 of the orchestra's CD's feature music by the ”Nordic Johann Strauss” – the aforementioned Lumbye.
